What do you do on a rainy Saturday? Oh we could clean house a bit, we could snuggle in and binge Netflix, we could read a book… honestly, we will probably do several of these today but I’m thinking we may make a run to the craft store and get some canvases and have our own little paint and sip!
It’s been a while since we’ve done that and we had so much fun last time. You can read about it here, we just turned on some soft music and went to town. It wasn’t exactly what we expected… it was just quiet time, concentrating on our canvases. No work allowed, no worries just peace. Well, there was a bit of stress in trying to get things just right one the canvas but it was very peaceful and relaxing and I think we could use some of that.
So I think that will be our plan today. Now to decide what to paint. DH is more into abstract painting. He likes to do his own thing. Me? Well, I’m not that talented. I need direction, so I’ll probably go spend a little time on Pinterest to get a few ideas.
This will be our last shebang before DD comes home for a little while. Empty nesting will cease for about 10 days! WooHoo!! Don’t get me wrong. We’ve been enjoying this time but I’m ready to spend some time with my girl!

Yes! My daughter and son both had beautiful days today and enjoyed being outside. I was actually A bit jealous. 😁
