I am an ever changing, evolving, mess! Lol not really, well, not completely, anyway. I started this site when the last of my kids moved out, as an empty nest thing. Sharing my sadness and excitement. It evolved into a place of sharing my life, my crafts, my sermons, my devotions/reflections, and so on.
When asked “who are you?” My reply is always, a wife, a mom, a grammie. I’ve worn many hats – secretary, children’s choir director, preschool teacher, homeschool mom, lay pastor, and so on. I’ve even written and published a couple of children’s books. You can purchase them here in either paperback or e-book form.
I am currently in evolve mode again and am excited to see where it takes me and how I can use this space to help me.
Back in 2017, I took my first Reiki courses and fell in love with it, but in my usual Sherri fashion, my dreams were larger than my courage and I kept it mostly under wraps. Using it only for myself and a few family members and friends.
I’ve called in Reiki many times over the years for myself mostly, but when others were in need I shared it. I never stopped reading about it and feeling it but recently, Reiki has been coming up in my life more and more and often in unexpected places so, over the past few months, I’ve been dipping more than just a toe in and am hoping to dive right in soon! Not sure what that will look like, or how I’ll share it here but I definitely feel Reiki is going be a big part of my world for a while and I’m excited to see where it takes me!
