Why are some women so mean?

What is wrong with some women?  That they feel the need to tear other women down in order to feel superior or powerful… Especially older women to young women?

I just don’t get it.

I guess it’s just not my thing, or at least I hope it’s not!!  I hope that I have never done this. Especially to younger women…. If I have in my past, I am terribly sorry.  Please forgive me.

Today, I’m of the mindset that I want the next generation to have it better than I did, I want them to be able to do more, be more.  I want them to have the things I didn’t!  If I can give them a leg up, I want to do so.

I don’t understand how some people just don’t want younger people to have it better than they did.  I ran into this in the church a lot.  “When I was their age…”

Yeah, well, when you were there age, there wasn’t the internet, or cell phones… hate was a little more well hidden.  We didn’t flaunt it as much and so on…  (trying not to get on a tangent.)

Yes, times change, and we hope they change for the better!  We should want for things to easier, better, for our children, grandchildren, and greats.  We should.

Unfortunately, not everyone acts this way and it’s sad, especially among women.

Women should be there for each other, encouraging one another, helping one another, celebrating each others wins, and being there and listening to one another when things are hard.

We shouldn’t be gossiping about one another, talking behind backs, purposely trying to hurt each other. We just shouldn’t. The end.

This week, my goal is to encourage the women in my life, to hold them up or even give them a hand up if needed.  I try to do this all the time, but this week I want to be intentional about it.  Make a conscious decision to do so.

My friends, You are beautiful, smart, and brave.  And I’m proud of you.

Until next time… ♥️
