Binge TV

DH and I both had Covid a few weeks ago and we did what most people do these days, we binged TV. It was kind of sad because we finished the current season of The Witcher… 😭 I’m a fan of Henry Cavill as the Witcher and may not be able to continue the show once he’s gone… 😭

Then we started The Foundation on AppleTV and were heartbroken when we caught up!  It’s a weird show, but interesting too.  Then we moved over to Invasion also on AppleTV and so… interesting… but we caught up on it too!!  Now we are waiting for each episode weekly…How did we ever do this? Weekly TV… lol

So as we wait for our weekly episodes, DH decided we would watch The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings all the way through in order.  We really enjoyed that.  Watching them back to back is amazing.  We caught little things we hadn’t noticed before.  The whole time, I kept thinking about how Samwise Gamgee should have been the one to carry the ring… He was so much stronger than Frodo and his heart was so pure and true… but I’m sure Tolkien is smarter and better than me in a million and one ways so…

But in a week we finished those and we left wondering, What Now? So we decided to continue with the new season of The Morning Show, which we LOVE but… alas… there were only 2 episodes available at the time so we were quickly back to waiting for another show to drop episodes weekly.  What are we supposed to do Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday? 😂

We fill in here and there with Modern Family, and we did also start the Disney+ Star Wars show Ahsoka which we are enjoying too, and thankfully haven’t caught up yet but it won’t be long.

We are behind on Ted Lasso, as we watch with a friend and we’ve all been so busy traveling or being sick we are just now getting started with the latest season.  We also watch Only Murders In The Building with her and we need to get caught up on that as well, but we only watch once a week so we stick with one show at a time.

There are so many shows out there!  What are you watching? I don’t want to spend too much time on them, now that we are well, as I’d rather live our life than watch imaginary people live theirs, but we do usually watch an hour or two in the evenings.  Though sometimes, I’m only in for an hour and then am off to read!  I love that I’m getting back to reading, but that’s another post.

Until next time ♥️ …
