Happy Monday!

It’s gonna be an amazing week because I’m going to make it so!

This morning, I woke up feeling exhausted… because I didn’t really sleep much and when I did, it was plagued with really weird dreams.  It’s been this way for a several days now.

I also, haven’t felt my best… Probably because of my lack of good sleep, but I’ve just felt off.  Last week, I went to the acupuncturist an she said I was off…  

Saturday, I decided enough was enough, I was going to have a juice… I still hadn’t found my juicer yet from the move, so since we were heading out to DD’s, we could go to Nekter and get me my celery juice.  It always helps.

But, though it tasted amazing, I don’t think this is a one juice fix… That means I’m really off kilter!  So we made it our mission yesterday to find the juicer AND the blender!

AND WE DID!! And I immediately made another celery juice.  Celery was about the only produce we have so I got up early and priced some produce and went ahead and ordered it, picked it up, and am now enjoying a nice green smoothie. I don’t know why I ever stop drinking these… I LOVE them!  I hope it starts making me feel better ASAP.

Tomorrow, I’ll start my day with a celery juice and go from there. I have several juices and smoothies in mind to try as breakfast, snacks or lunch so, we will see.

Here is the recipe for today’s… I have probably shared it before but here it is again…

Sherri’s Green Smoothie

(I’m sure there are tons of recipes out there exactly like this one but I made this when I was first starting out with just the fruits and veggies I liked at the time. I always go back to it.)

Half a green apple

One stalk of celery

1/4 a cucumber

8 green grapes

1 handful of spinach

1/2 in of ginger (I forgot it today! 😢 )

Water to blend

Cut it all up for your blender and add water and ice to make your preferred consistency, blend and enjoy!
