Just a little photo dump…

We had a beautiful weekend. Friday we had a lovely rainstorm.

There was a tiny bit of hail but oh, how wonderful was the rain! The temperatures were cool so I had the windows cracked just a little bit and the smell of the wind and rain was divine. (oops, just realized that I shared all but one of those photos on Friday… oh well, enjoy them again)

Saturday we visited the zoo which was so crowded but loads of fun! DH and I just love walking around getting a little exercise and seeing the animals. And so many of them were out in clear view!

That sweet otter was swimming and flipping all around and patting the window for attention. It was so sweet. Honestly, it was nice to get out and just walk. It’s encouraged us to get out and walk more here at home too! We’ve walked 3 miles the last two evenings and it’s been so nice.

Sunday DD had to come to town to help her childhood dance studio with recital. So she came early and brought her BF and we all went to brunch here in a cute little restaurant in an old train station.

Just a little interesting fact for you, it was the very place we ate when we moved here. It was all we could find! lol and it’s actually not that easy to find. 😂

Anyway, it was delicious! Mimosas and all!

Then the boys hung out doing what boys do and I spent ALL DAY LONG working on one of the tank tops for DD’s next show.

Still a work in progress. I had safety pinned it together so we could an idea of how it would fit. Then yesterday, I spent a lot of the day sewing it all together. I’m almost finished with it and am ready to start the next one! It will be the same as this one and hopefully will go much faster now that I’ve made one… 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻 (fingers crossed). I have until the middle of June…

Anyway, not that you really wanted to know all of my comings and goings but I thought I’d share the photos.
