DH and I spent the weekend in Washington State. It’s beautiful there! It’s crazy busy with lots of people and though I think it’s beautiful, it was too busy for me. I really like the small towns, not the hustle and bustle. But we had the best time!
We took a nice walk through what seemed to me a forest or jungle. Felt like we should have seen monkeys swinging through the trees. It ended walking through a tunnel to a pebble beach right on the sound. It was so peaceful and strikingly beautiful.

We found a downed tree and sat for a while just watching the water. We saw a few boats and a harbor seal! I could have sat there for hours!

We visited the Pike’s Place Market. There are so many shops to see! AND SO. MANY. STAIRS. We went over to the waterfront. We again saw Harbor Seals. So fun watching them swim around and roll about in the water. The weather was perfect! I could stood there for hours watching the sail boats float by and looking for the seals.

Then we walked back UP. So. Many. Stairs. Lol and took the Monorail to the Space Needle! What a view from the top!

We ate loads. We had a Seattle dog, which was delicious, by the way, visited and ate at two different Irish Pubs, both were wonderful! We ate pizza and brunched at little French bistro which was amazing. Everything we ate was truly scrumptious.
We were there to visit family and we had such a good time. So glad we made the trip! Hopefully, we will get to go again, but if not, I’m glad we got to go this time and have such a lovely time.
Until next time…♥️
