It’s been a crazy couple of days here Sherriland. We are moving DD into a new apartment here locally. When I say we, I mean DD and me. It’s exhausting. Then you throw in the election last night … she and I stayed up most of the night night and then got up and got busy moving! We moved all day… we loaded the truck, we unloaded the truck, we cleaned, we unpacked, we organized, we cleaned some more. We stopped for lunch and then went back for another load and and it all started over.
Then… exhausted, I had to cook dinner!! I was so tired and almost threw in the towel and went and picked up fast food but I held fast.
DD cut up the carrots and potatoes and I dressed the chicken… we put it in the oven and went our separate ways for nap… and woke up to this!
Isn’t it just beautiful? And it tasted as good as it looked! YUM. I like this kind of art and meals that I can take naps while they are cooking are AMAZING!
