Life Purpose

I’ve been thinking about Life purpose for a while now… Well, like my whole life, really. I think about my personal purpose. Why am I here? What is my significance? What am I supposed to be doing? Do I even a purpose? Do any of us? Is there really some big plan? Is there one for me? Am I living out my purpose? I don’t know…

But as I was pondering on this, this weekend, I had the thought… “Love your neighbor.” I actually said those words the other day. “For now, I’m just out here trying to love my neighbor.” Sometimes I succeed, others… But I’m trying.

As I was considering this though to myself, “I thought I’m not sure that is my personal, individual purpose though, because it think it’s ALL of OUR purpose, collectively. WE are here to LOVE each other.

So, my question to you this Monday morning after Easter is… How do you plan to love your neighbor this week? I’m really asking and would love to read your answers! Let’s share ideas be creative!

  1. I’m fortunate to have had the same neighbors for years. We know we can depend on each other. Sherri, put this on your list, your purpose is to be my Spiritual advisor and to feed me. LOL. You are the neighbor who lives a few miles away. I don’t throw the word love around. When I say love, I mean it. So, I will like all my neighbors near and far.

    1. Lol you are too funny!! And that is definitely one of my purposes! 😂

I think when I said “love” I was thinking of Jesus’ words. I think of it as an action… such as feeding you! Or baking cookies for the neighbors, or sending a note of encouragement to someone when they come to mind. But I hear you, I don’t throw that word around either when it comes to SAYING “I love you.” But maybe we should… we might be the only person to ever say that to someone… hmmm… something to think about for sure.

      LOVE YOU, Barb!! ❤️❤️
