Well, Christmas has come and gone, and now we are preparing for a new year.
We’ve been making plans for New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.
We’ve been thinking about what we want to do in this new year, not so much resolutions, just things we’d like to do and maybe even some changes we’d like to make. Nothing too big or fancy, just small things really.
Santa brought DH and I Zoo Memberships and so we want to try to get to the Zoo once a month or so in the new year as a way of being more active together.
I’ve been thinking about setting up a crafting schedule. I have so many unfinished projects and some projects I’ve wanted to do for years that I’ve never gotten around to so… I’m thinking of either weekly or monthly setting aside time for them. This week (or month, I haven’t decided which) I’ll work on scrapbooking or sewing or painting and so on. And maybe even say what time of each day I’ll do it. It’ll keep me a little more active (at least brain activity) and I’ll actually have something to show for my time.
I plan to keep up the… not exactly decluttering… but going through things and letting go. We still have so many boxes to go through from the move (and moves past) and so much that I really need to stop hanging on to. It’s hard but there is no reason so I plan on scheduling time for that too. Maybe a week each month to really delve into it or maybe a couple of hours each week. We will see.
BUT I AM GOING TO DO IT! I’ll just put it in my calendar and make myself do it.
Anyway, time can so easily get away from me and I want to be little bit more intentional about my time this year.
What are your plans this year? Are you setting goals? Making resolutions? playing it ear? I’d love to hear your plans!
Until next time… ♥️
I always set goals! Mainly it’s keeping as healthy as I can in body, mind and spirit!
