What I’m reading

I just finished a … not sure what to call it… a prequel? In this particular series, it’s called a branch. It’s a little bit of a backstory to one of the characters in the series I’ve been reading forever… This book took me several months to read because I kept getting distracted but it was good read! I was just busy and didn’t take time to read…

Anyway it’s called, “Becoming Morghan,” by Katherine Genet. I talked about the original series here. I really loved it! I wish there was more of her story!

Then I went back and re-read her “threading” story which is her in between story… it’s one that links the original series, “The Wilde Grove” with the spin off, the “Selena Wilde Series,” which I LOVED, LOVED, LOVED!! I read those the fastest.

But back to what I’m reading now. The first time through, I listened to the “Wilde Grove Series” on Audible, usually while don’t other things… puzzles, cooking, cleaning… and I feel like I didn’t get a full grasp of them SO. I’ve decided to re-read them. Not listen this time. I bought the series in paperback. In the last post about this series, I said that I was finishing the last in the series but I was wrong! There are more! Only one more out now, but more are coming. So, that’s why I decided to read them again before I start the new one. I just started the first book, “The Gathering” and am only on like chapter 5, but I am enjoying it again. There was much I either missed or didn’t understand due to the accent of the reader.
