EEEeeek!! I found a new to me path this morning on my walk. It was a lovely path but had a few more people on it than we are used to, but everyone seemed quite friendly and the dog actually did pretty well!

Just off the path was this little, dare I say, waterfall? It was lovely and peaceful. There was a bench nearby but it faced away from it. It would be a lovely spot to sit and listen to the water, it would be even lovelier if you could watch it too.
I got in 4 miles on this walk!! Making up for missing a walk again this evening. Last night I did get in one more mile and maybe I’ll do that again tonight. We will see.
I really am enjoying my walking. It’s been quite the mood booster! I think setting my priorities has helped with that as well. I know, it’s only been 2 days, 3 if you count the day I set them 😂, but I think it’s going pretty well.
Now, the weather is changing over the next few days… getting warmer. BOOOOO!!!! We will be back up near 90 this weekend so it may interfere with my walking, but I’m hoping I can force myself to keep it up. It’s been feeling so good… but will it still feel good with the heat??? I may have to go at zero dark thirty. 😂🤣😂🤣 Who am I kidding? I have to be able to stay in my jammies for a little while in the mornings!! Maybe I’ll find a path to the treadmill and put a fan on me… We will see.
I really do love cooler temperatures. Highs in the 70’s, mid 70’s, those are my preference. Well, no higher than that. I’d be fine with highs in the 50s or 60s quite honestly. I love waking up to the 40s and 50s. That’s an immediate mood booster for me! Give me my tea, a blanket and my notebook and set me out on the porch and I’ll be happy as a clam!
Are clams happy? How do we know? Why do we say that? I don’t know. But yes, I really do love the cooler temperatures.
Fall is my season. It speaks to, touches, and moves my soul. I love winter too! The cooler temperatures, I love the holidays, I love the decorations! Is it possible to live a world that is only fall and winter? Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas?

I know, it would probably get pretty boring and besides that, having the other two seasons only makes me appreciate my favorites that much more!
Anyway, back to my walk. This mushroom and stump also caught my attention. I wanted to just sit and stare at it and the water. No time for that as the dog was also on a new path with me and it needed exploring and marking! But he did let me pause a split second to get the two photos. Well, three. Once we got back on our regular path, I noticed some leaves changing colors. I’m so excited for fall and all the colors. I’m expecting some really beautiful scenes.
Okay, I’ve rambled enough. I have work to do, errands to run and more so …
Until next time… ♥️
