Birthday Tales…

Yesterday was my birthday and it was a beautiful day! My precious family covered me in love. DH woke me by singing happy birthday to me. We got up and sat together drinking our warm morning drinks. DS called and wished me a happy day. DIL called and sang to me after DS called so he could be first. 😂😂 DD came over early for breakfast (she sang to me too) and we hung out all day! We had a wonderful time! So much so we forgot to take any photos till almost bed time!

We went to a cute bookstore downtown, then had bento boxes for lunch. YUM! Went to a little store and found some fun thing to buy. We went over to fun dress shop and tried on clothes. I even bought a new dress!! It’s fabulous and I can’t wait to wear it! Then we came home and hung out some more (she feel asleep on me 😂).

DH came home from work a little early and we all went out to vote! Please VOTE!! In every election. Even the small ones matter!!

DD had to go to work so DH and I hung out for a bit till it was time to order dinner… this was our main glitch in the day… the restaurant we planned on ordering from was CLOSED!!! We should have checked earlier in the day but it was a fluke so we didn’t think of it till it was time.

We could not think of anywhere else to order from around here! lol. So many of our places here close early… it was after 6… So we ended up ordering from a little Irish Pub and it was delicious! A little later than we are used too but very good.

Then DH and DD cleared the table and began whispering in the kitchen. They were so funny. Looking for candles… then a lighter… and here they came three cupcakes aflame singing once again. Red Velvet cupcakes… YUM! So fun and so good!!DD and I played on snapchat for a while, DH went to bed after talking DD into spending the night and then the facemasks came out. What a mess of fun! 😂

To say I was loved fully yesterday is an understatement. To say it was a wonderful day is too! It was a wonderfully magickal day, rain and all. I had so many messages of well wishes and love – texts, Facebook posts, and Instagram too. I was overwhelmed with love and what a lovely thing to be overwhelmed by.
