I mentioned a week or so ago, that I was taking up meditation again, I even signed up for a 40 day mindfulness challenge.  It’s been going pretty well.  

I feel more calm through out the day and more connected which is nice.  

The challenge I’m doing is encouraging you (me) to be more present by paying attention to breath.  I like this idea of being more in the moment.  I find myself too much in my head or my phone and not enough in the now.

Sometimes I even think I’m constantly looking for stimulation… we have way too much of that all the time… 24 hour news and social media have trained some of us to need the constant something in front of us making us feel – doesn’t matter what – just feel something – anger, disgust, triumph, hilarity and so on and usually at others expense. 

When really we need to be able to feel those feelings when it’s appropriate but not constantly looking for it. 

I don’t know, is this even coming out right?  Do I make sense?  I don’t know, I know what mean.  Lol
